TCR Spa 500


As promised, in full, here’s the inaugural 2019 Spa 500 Creventic TCR race.  This year’s event was supposed to be run last weekend, but of course, it was cancelled due to the global virus pandemic that is happening in our world right now.  Yours truly had totally forgotten to post the race, last fall, when it happened.  So, here is the whole of last year’s inaugural TCR Spa 500.  Enjoy.

Pressing the rewind button.  Last weekend, we were supposed to see the second running of the Creventic TCR Spa 500, an endurance race for TCR cars put on by the Creventic series.  Of course, with the global virus pandemic, that isn’t happening.  So, yours truly just realized he forgot to post the inaugural event, from last fall, a 23 hour, 500 lap endurance test at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps in Spa, Belgium.  This is qualifying and stay tuned, because the race is coming up so you can check out the whole event since we have no racing right now.

LMDh Headlines

Before getting to more general news with respect to the FIA World Endurance Championship, some major updates have come out recently insofar as the progress being made on the development of the new LMDh regulations, which have been delayed, but are now being worked out, in spite of the worldwide virus pandemic going on right now.  Here's the latest from Sportscar365.  There could be a delay in launching the new LMDh platform by a year or so, as you will find out.  So, don't be alarmed.  Again, as I have stated before, this is an idea that everyone in the sports car racing community, will have to ease into.  We can't just take the plunge right away or we'll be in over our heads.
