Asian LMS Gets Condensed Four-Race January Schedule

A story from the beginning of the month of June, that got lost in the shuffle.  The Asian Le Mans Series 2020-2021 schedule will retain a four race format, but they will be run in a span of less than three weeks.  As you will see, they will be at two different tracks, and run two or three days apart.

As sports car racing returns to Europe, Herberth Motorsports dominates the Creventic 24 Hour Series 24 Hours of Portimao in Portugal.  Yours truly watched the entire event and thoroughly enjoyed it.  No real 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend, as that won’t be until September.  But this race, made up for it, in spades.

A couple pertinent FIA WEC stories

A couple pertinent stories from the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, coming up in September.

Because of a lack of an available femaile Bronze rated driver, GEAR Racing will move their Ferrari 488 GTE into the GTE Pro division for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in September.  They are still looking for an operations partner for the race, as well.
