Tomorrow is the big day, the 92nd running and 101st anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. But there is more news to highlight. The sports car racing news spigot is freely flowing currently, and here is the latest. We talked already about Kevin Estre's monster pole lap for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and how Brendon Hartley paced night practice for Toyota. There is more where all of that came from. I must say, I have some editorializing I would like to do, based on a few of these upcoming stories. But any Op. Ed. pieces I contemplate writing, I will save for later. There are more important things currently at hand.
Sports car racing, is my passion and I have been dedicated to it for well over two decades. A great quote from Steve McQueen in his 1971 movie, when he starred as Gulf Porsche driver Michael Delaney, comes to mind. "Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after, is just waiting." - Steve McQueen From the movie, "Le Mans" - 1971

Friday Le Mans News before the Big Race Tomorrow
Again, fingers crossed that there will be someplace to find solid coverage for Le Mans. I am going to try the official ACO website and suggest you do the same. I don't know if Motor Trend or Discovery+ is going to have the race online in a live capacity immediately, as I think if they are going to make that work it may be taped for later. I cannot guarantee if you have the Motor Trend or Discovery+ apps, as I do, that you will see a live broadcast on those platforms or not.
Now, onward to all the news.
