Blancpain Endurance Series round 2: Silverstone

M Sport Bentley broke through to win the second race of the Blancpain Endurance Series season.  They've triumphed in their home race at the Silverstone circuit in Silverstone, England!

The #7 Bentley Continental GT won the Pro class and overall with drivers Steven Kane, Guy Smith, and Andy Meyrick.  In the Pro Am division, it was the #80 Nissan  GT Academy team Nissan GT-R GT3 driven by Florian Strauss of Germany, American driver Nick McMillan, and Alex Buncombe of England, winning in class.  Finally, the Gentleman Trophy division was won by the #458 GT Corse by Rinaldi, for that team's second win of the season, but with 2/3rds of it's driver lineup including Alexander Mattschull, and Frank Schmickler.

Once again, the winners are:

Overall/Pro: #7 Kane/Smith/Meyrick                           Bentley Continental GT
            Pro Am: #80 Strauss/McMillen/Buncombe      Nissan GT-R- GT3
            Gentleman
            Trophy: #458 Mattschull/Schmickler                Ferrari 458 Italia

 Round three of the Blancpain Endurance Series, (which marks the halfway point in the 2014 season), will be at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track in Le Castellet, France.  That race is slated to take place at the end of June, on June 29th.  So, it will happen in just over a month's time.
