Blancpain Endurance Series Round 3: Paul Ricard

The Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track in Le Castellet, France, played host to round three of the Blancpain Endurance Series for 2014.  Chalk up a second straight win for M-Sport Bentley and the #7 Contiental GT3 in the hands of the British trio of Steven Kane, Guy Smith, and Andy Meyrick.  The Pro Am class was won by the #12 TDS Racing BMW Z4 GT of Henry Hassid of France, and Dutchman Nicky Catsburg (a very experienced GT driver, especially in Blancpain competition).

For the third successive race, (a sweep of the season so far), it was the #458 Ferrari 458 Italia from GT Corse by Rinaldi, winning in the Gentleman Trophy.  Alexander Matschull, Pierre Ehret, and Frank Schmickler, were the winning drivers.  So, the overall and class winners from the Paul Ricard round of the Blancpain Endurance Series, are:

Overall/Pro:      #7 Kane/Smith/Meyrick               Bentley Continental GT
            Pro Am: #12 Hassid/Catsburg                  BMW Z4 GT
            Gentleman
            Trophy: #458 Mattschull/Ehret/Schmickler Ferrari 458 Italia
