Congratulations to Nissan, and NISMO Athlete Global Team, on winning the 2015 Bathurst 12 Hour with drivers Katsumasa Chiyo of Japan, Belgium's Wolfgang Reip, and Germany's Florian Strauss. This marks Nissan's first win in the Bathurst 12 Hours, and the first win for a Japanese brand in the race, since it started, back in early 1990s, when Toyota, Mazda, and Nissan took the lion's share of the wins. Toyota won the inaugural race in 1991, followed by four straight wins for Mazda Australia and Mazda Motorsport in their Mazda RX-7's between 1991 and '95.
Mitsubishi's Lancer Evo won in 2008 and 2009. Here are the links to the race results, and the race replay.
Congratulations to Nissan!
