FIA WEC news headed into Mexico this weekend

As the FIA World Endurance Championship is poised for it's race in Mexico City, Mexico this weekend, there is a lot of news to take a look at, particularly, an idea that has been floated about having the WEC race during the winter months.  Plus, the schedule may be set to be reduced from it's current total of nine races.
