Yours truly, spent a large chunk of the day yesterday, (Saturday), viewing the web stream of the Bathurst 12 Hours on my iPad. The race was wild to say the least. Lots happened. Let's have a look at the race highlights via the headlines written about it for Sportscar365. We start off with a lap of Mount Panorama in qualifying by Aussie Porsche Junior driver Matt Campbell, and will go from there.

Hope you enjoyed the on board lap around one of the most amazing race tracks on this planet. With the track lap in a race car out of the way, we go straight to the race highlights, and this one was so action packed, yours truly couldn't have possibly written a full race report about it without becoming kind of confused as to what was happening. Watching the live video of the race was great (and I hope many of you took that opportunity, to follow the live streaming on YouTube, of the race itself). Thank goodness for abbreviated highlights. Here's all the major action.

This, was another turning point. Markus Winkelhock's Audi R8's drive train packed up, and to say the least, he was disgusted about it as anyone would be, close to the end of a prestigious race.

This next incident is not for the faint of heart. If you are squeamish, you may not want to watch the video. The impact here between a couple of the Class A GT3 cars, was absolutely gut wrenching.
