A story that has just broken, relating to both the FIA World Endurance Championship, and IMSA. IMSA manufacturers in the Daytona Prototype International category such as Honda, Mazda, and Nissan, are willing to support and explore hybrid technology for the next generation DPi rules, similarly to what we've seen with hybrid tech in the FIA World Endurance Championship from the likes of Audi, Porsche, and Toyota.
