FIA WEC news

A veritable boatload of FIA World Endurance Championship news that has come up during the Rolex 24 weekend and also, the news leading up to the next round of the FIA World Endurance Championship for Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.  Also, be advised that there are articles talking about the new LMDh formula.  Yes, we are very excited about that.  But yours truly believes we ought to hold off on any excitement until we get to Sebring for "Super Sebring" in March, when we shall hear more about what the platform will be all about.

That being said, in this news update from Sportscar365, you will read an article that explains former IMSA CEO Scott Atherton's excitement about the convergence prospect.  Again, we are all excited about it in the world of sports car racing as fans, but our enthusiasm should be temporarily tempered until we see what the full display of the new regulations will be once "Super Sebring" rolls around.
