Sebring WEC Race Cancelled due to Travel Restrictions

This news is fairly obvious.  With the COVID 19 Coronavirus becoming more prevalent and more of a concern, travel restrictions have been put in place by President Donald Trump and the United States government, and these travel restrictions meant for the safety of the population of the United States means that the 1,000 Miles of Sebring FIA World Endurance Championship race has been cancelled.  So, we have seen the one and only appearance of the WEC cars in the states in Austin, Texas, and now we will wait and see if the final two races of the season, the Spa 6 Hours at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium in May and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the cornerstone of the WEC schedule at Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France, do take place.  Sports car racing fans, stay safe out there, wash your hands, and be careful.
