New and Evo spec GT3 cars are ineligible to compete in the opening two rounds of next year's IGTC championship at the Bathurst 12 Hours at Mount Panorama in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, and at the Kyalami 9 Hours at the Kyalami circuit outside of Johannesburg, South Africa, both of which are slated to take place within a three-week period in February of 2023.
