Continuing to examine more headlines from the IMSA WeatherTech Championship.
First of all, we could see some major shuffling at BMW as they embark on a dual program for next year in IMSA with Rahal Letterman Lanigan and in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Team WRT with the BMW M Hybrid V8. There is a possibility that the current Rahal Letterman Lanigan driver lineups of Phillip Eng, Augusto Farfus, Connor De Philippi, and Nick Yelloly, could be moved to the European team at WRT for the WEC effort next year.
BMW Could Move IMSA Drivers to WEC Hypercar Program
It makes me wonder. Will the rest of the current GT3 squad for WRT BMW racing in places like SRO GT World Challenge Europe, will they be retained? Or will they have to look for drives elsewhere next year?
