By definition and by nature, this blog focuses on sports car racing. That being said, a lot is being made of touring car racing in North America, since both IMSA, and the SCCA which runs Pirelli World Challenge, are making decisions that could affect the future of the touring car classes in North American road racing right now. So, now that IMSA is planning to adopt the new TCR formula, how will the SCCA respond?
