2014 was the year PWC made GT3 cars the stars of GT, the feature class.
Moving away from the shop and factory-built monsters from Cadillac,
KPAX, CRP, and Blackdog to the completely factory-built and developed
GT3 machines was an instant boost to the grid. The season finale at
Houston in 2013 saw a mere 8 PWC-spec GT cars take the green flag
compared to the 23 GT cars we saw at the 2014 season opener, 20 of which
were GT3. It was an instant win.
What can the organizer's of PWC do, to bring back a large car-count to the Sprint races in PWC?
