It is the season opener of the Blancpain GT Endurance championship for 2019 at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy. This is round one of the endurance championship, of five, combined with the World Challenge series which is it's own championship, featuring sprint races, combined with the endurance championship. We join the commentary team of David Addison and five-time Formula 1 race winner, John Watson, with all the action.

The race winners at Monza are a true underdog. The Italian Dinamic Motorsport team, with their #54 Porsche 911 GT3R in the hands of Zaid Ashkanani of Kuwait, Klaus Bachler of Austria, and Andrea Rizzoli of Italy. In the Silver class, the winners are the #90 AKKA ASP Mercedes AMG GT3 driven by Nico Bastian of Germany, Timur Boguslavskiy of Russia, and Brazil's Felipe Fraga. British team Tempesta Racing with their Ferrari 488 GT3 win the Pro Am class, with British drivers Chris Buncombe and Chris Froggatt, and Jonathan Hui of Hong Kong. In the Am division, your winners are Barwell Motorsports, with the #77 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in the hands of Adrian Amstutz from Switzerland, Leo Machitski of Russia, and Miguel Ramos of Portugal.
