Yours truly is very much hopeful of covering the entire season for SRO GT World Challenge America this year in 2021. Last year, I wanted to, but it was a challenge, due to the scheduling shifts that came because of the cursed pandemic the world over. However, maybe this year, it will be easier to cover these particular races, especially since the rules have now changed back to including professional drivers in the championship, which last year, they didn't. Will have to get a hold of the schedule and see how it shakes out. The races can always be followed via YouTube and the SRO's GTWorld channel as well.
Here's the latest in the news department from the championship. Again, a thorough once over of the schedule shall also be in order. In December of 2020, we heard about one of the championship mainstays, K-PAX Racing, changing manufacturers to Lamborghini. Since then, there has been a lot more news that has come up. So, here are those stories.
K-PAX Names Drivers for Two-Car Lamborghini Entry
Fanatec Named New GTWC Title Sponsor; New Esports Initiative
Cooper, Vogel Join DXDT in Expanded Three-Car GT3 Effort
HPD GT3 Academy Graduates in Racers Edge Acura

14 GT3 cars are slated to compete in the GT World Challenge America season opening races next month at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.

The season will start soon, in less than a month.
