  1. Rest In Peace, Johnny Dumfries, the Scottish Earl who started out racing open wheel cars and did a brief spell in Formula 1 with Lotus, but is most famous for his triumphant 1988 victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Jaguar, sharing their legendary XJR9 Group C car with Jan Lammers and Andy Wallace, while also briefly driving, the year before in ‘87 for Mercedes and the year after in ‘89 for Toyota. Johnny Dumfries, passed away at the young age of 62. Rest In Peace, Johnny. The sports car racing world will miss you.
