Folks, we have just heard of course in recent days about Hurricane Ian that has hit the Caribbean, but it could strengthen and hit the Gulf of Mexico later on in the week.  Watch this space for updates on whether the race will happen.  I believe it will, but precautions will have to be taken and format changes to the schedule may be necessary.
