Yours truly is prepared for more this weekend with a colossal weekend of sports car racing ahead and will get through each event as time goes on. Looking ahead, it is my plan to eventually get around to blogging the penultimate FIA WEC race of the season, the 6 Hours of Fuji in Fuji, Japan, that took place last weekend. There are a couple of races from the most recent batch of them in WEC I am waiting to post about. We have Michelin Pilot Challenge and the WeatherTech Championship coming up this weekend for the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the feature race for the WeatherTech Championship being a 6-hour enduro. Not to be outdone, SRO GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup is back in action this weekend for the penultimate event of their season, the 3 Hours of Monza at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy.
I think, the plan will be to cover anything and everything having to do with Indianapolis first off, then, moving into the GT World Challenge Europe coverage from Monza. There are a few other races that have either been completed, or are about to happen, that I also hope to post to the blog very soon. Do stay tuned for further details as we get down to crunch time in the 2024 endurance sports car racing season in a large number of the championships. Titles are certainly going to be on the line sooner rather than later and everything will be covered here, as efficiently and quickly as I possibly can. Then, of course, there is much anticipation for the 2025 season as well, but that bridge will indeed be crossed when we get to it.
