More WeatherTech Championship news from Indianapolis Motor Speedway

There is more time to highlight the latest news from the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship heading for the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend.  Track action officially gets underway on Friday morning with free practices and then qualifying is on Saturday along with the Michelin Pilot Challenge race, and of course, the main event, the 6-hour endurance race that is the cherry on the sundae will take place on Sunday between late morning and early evening.

Ellis Relishing "Fun Little Challenge" of Double Duty at Indy

Yes, indeed.  Philip Ellis will race in both the Michelin Pilot Challenge race on Saturday and the Battle on the Bricks WeatherTech Championship 6-hour enduro on Sunday.

A stalwart Michelin Pilot Challenge team, van der Steur Racing, will step up to the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship on a part-time basis in 2025, competing in the five Michelin Endurance Cup races.

The #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 joins its sister car #23 in the GT Daytona Pro class at Indianapolis this weekend.  This change should be an addendum to the official entry list but has not been noted yet.
