FIA WEC 2024 season long Entry List & other news

The 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship entry list has been confirmed.  Details in this post.  Stay tuned, too, for an editorial breaking everything down in the Hypercar and LMGT3 classes.

This is a shocker.  Isotta Fraschini and Vector Sport have parted ways.  Isotta Fraschini I believe will still show up on the Hypercar grid next year.  But who will be in charge of their team operations?  We'll see.

Of course, we all are aware that the entry list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be separate and that one will be announced in Mid-February as tradition dictates.

Isotta Fraschini will keep their project going but they have partnered instead with Duqueine.

This is new news.  Vanwall, before having their entry request denied by the FIA and the ACO had struck a deal with Pipo Moteurs for engines, replacing Gibson Technologies as their engine supplier.  Recall that Pipo Moteurs built engines for Glickenhaus before that team ceased operations earlier this year.

This means, compared to the 2024 entry list we have just seen, only three more cars would be necessary, obviously.
