WeatherTech Championship offseason news (continued)

Daytona Beach beckons and so does the Rolex 24, but not for another month and a half or so.  Still, there's plenty more offseason news to cover in the realm of the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship.  Here's the latest.

In industry news, BMW driver John Edwards is set for a career shift.  He is stepping away from racing cars and focusing now on flying airplanes.  Not too far of a stretch, honestly.  The same skillset is required.

Today and tomorrow, there is testing at Daytona International Speedway before the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech Championship season.  Here are some pictures of the cars at the test session.

There's more testing to come the rest of the week.  Prototypes wrap up their testing tomorrow and then it will be the turn of the GT Daytona Pro and GT Daytona teams to shake down their cars.
