Friday Pre-Race News from Sebring

Lots to talk about as we head into the 12 Hours of Sebring tomorrow including a very early release of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech Championship race schedule so as to avoid date clashes with races in other championships globally.

Paul Miller Racing are very concerned, and rightfully so, about brake issues cropping up again at Sebring, just the same way they had troubles with them at Daytona towards the end of the Rolex 24 in January.  We might be talking about brake issues for the GT3 cars in the race tomorrow.  Not so much the GTP cars, because of the brake by wire systems they use, but definitely for the production-based automobiles, brakes could be a literal "hot" topic.

Here is the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech Championship schedule.  Note that all venues remain consistent with no introductions of new venues to race at, which is what IMSA is looking for.  Consistency and continuity on the race schedule.
