It seems the NASCAR Cup car, that is going to try entering the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is indeed at it's heart, a NASCAR stock car. But it is one that can match the lap times of the GT Daytona machines (GT3 cars) around Daytona International Speedway on the banking and the infield road course.
