Action Express Le Mans Diary Entry: Top 10 finish

Wow.  The first Le Mans 24 Hours appearance for Action Express was a whirlwind!  Proud of the team as always.  A worrisome moment, in the opening laps when, on a damp track, on cold, slick tires, Jack Aitken spun the Cadillac and crunched the Armco barrier.  But, as per usual, with expertise, precision, efficiency, determination, and the will to win, our team sprang into action and fixed the car in no time.  It was tough sledding for parts of the race, but, in the end, when it all came out in the wash, we ended up with a top ten finish!  Proud of everyone on the team, the drivers, the pit crew, the team leadership with Bob, Gary, Tim, Peter, and everyone else, on doing a great job in our first Le Mans appearance.

Fingers crossed that we will be able to be a part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the future.  I think that is in part for the team brain trust to decide, and in part for the folks at Cadillac Racing to decide as well.  Nevertheless, our team deserves to be a part of the world's greatest endurance race and we proved that in more ways than one this past weekend.  Kudos to everybody.  Now, we look ahead to more success in the second half of the season for our regular endeavor, the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship season.
