Hydrogen powered endurance race cars sound like a good idea on paper. But as I have said in editorials before, there is just no way these types of cars are going to be ready yet for any kind of primetime appearance in a race anytime soon. A lot of work has to be done on this technology. Alpine I believe are the only company to even have any kind of prototype Hypercar or supercar for road use that has a combustion motor that is powered by hydrogen fuel.
