Monday Le Mans headlines and other things

Before we get to the Le Mans headlines on Monday, I am still trying to figure out how to find time to update everyone on the Imola and Spa WEC races.  Still working through them.  Maybe, just maybe, they will come after Le Mans as bonuses, and no, I still am not quite sure about how Le Mans will work for the TV broadcast between either the live TV section on Motor Trend, or, their separate channel that is melded into Discovery+.  Still trying to see about how to access the coverage for the race on Saturday.  I will find a way.  In the meantime, here is more of the news you can use on an off day from track action.  The next track running will be for the practices on Wednesday I believe.

Porsche will not introduce the new crankshaft that they wanted to put into the 963 except if there is an emergency engine rethink necessary.  So, they will keep the current flat plane crankshaft used for the car's 4.6-liter twin turbo V8 engine.
