BMW Hoping to Improve on "Bitter" Recent Le Mans History

BMW won the race overall in 1999 and have a shot at doing that in Hypercar again this year.  They are also hopeful of improving their GT class results in GT3 after their efforts in the GT2 and GTE classes over the course of and off and on participation period in the last 15 years, did not go the way they'd hoped.
